Teams should submit a concise system proposal for a working AI system with a clear sustainability purpose.

Eligibility

Teams of 1–5

Every team must include at least one full-time student or full-time project-related person at a recognized academic institute.

Proposal format

Up to 20 slides

Submit a PPT or PDF. Text should use fonts of at least 16 points.

Two requirements

Open tools.
Working product.

All AI technologies used must be open-source and publicly available free of cost.

AI assistants may be used to develop the system, but their use should be clearly described in the system proposal.

Team information

Team name, member names and affiliations, team leader phone number and email, and product name.

Problem statement

The sustainability challenge, relevant UN SDG(s), and target users or beneficiaries.

AI solution

AI techniques, a high-level architecture diagram, what is innovative, system screenshots or photographs, and a prototype URL for software systems.

04

System readiness

Practical evaluation, deployment or field study to date, plus hardware, software, and data requirements for scaled deployment.

Important: A usable working prototype must exist when the proposal is submitted. Ideas without a usable system will not be considered.
